Daniel Nunis,
Founder & Principal Consultant
Daniel has been an Early Childhood Professional Educator for more than 23 years. Over the years, he has held various designations from Teacher to Supervisor, to Head of Centre and Director. He has had the pleasure of working with students as young as 6 months of age to preschoolers, primary aged children, secondary aged children and in the last 5-10years, has been involved in adult training and education. Students of various multicultural backgrounds and origins have been under his guidance and teaching.
During the last 10 years, he has provided his own training services to various schools and centers in the Early Childhood Field. His work experience has been enriching in companies like Julia Gabriel’s, Lorna Whiston and Growing Up Gifted, and he has also been a Senior Manager with NTUC First Campus, coordinating curriculum training for 21 centers under his group care.
Currently a Trainer and Adjunct Lecturer with SEED Institute, in their Diploma for Teaching and Leadership Programmes, Daniel has had the chance to work with numerous preservice and in-service Early Childhood Teachers over the course of the last 5 to 10 years. He has also lectured at Ngee Ann & Temasek Polytechnic and SAUC Advent Links. His areas of specialization include Communications, Language & Literacy, Drama & Storytelling and Team Building.
A father of 3 boys, 19, 13 and 9 years of age, Daniel has had plenty of opportunities to practice whatever he has taught to his students, thus he is able to pull on his vast experience over the years to relate real life examples to engage students and promote their mastery of teaching. Daniel is also a keen and animated Drama Teacher and Storyteller and regularly conducts enrichment classes for various schools around the island. His main philosophy is that FUN must be a key element in the classroom and learning will take off.
With that in mind, and a comprehensive network of like-minded trainers and professionals, Daniel has started Daniel Nunis Consulting to build a quality network of well experienced and educated professionals who are knowledgeable resource persons in their own right and can produce Synergy and work together with our clients to achieve their goals.
